1998-1999 Art, Online & Publications Competition
The Rocky Mountain
Chapter is pleased to honor eight area companies and their technical
communicators whose entries won international awards. These entries won
either the Distinguished or Excellence award at our local art,
publications, and online competition held between December 1998 and
January 1999. The Rocky Mountain Chapter would also like to acknowledge
that two of the winners, NCPV Web
Site and UCAR Highlights
1998-99, won our local competition’s Best of Show awards in the online
and publications sections, respectively.
These
winning entries represent the best work that technical communicators from
the Rocky Mountain area have to offer. For the last several years, many of
our local entries have won international-level awards. This speaks volumes
about the professionalism and overall quality of the work that is
regularly produced in this area. These entries will be displayed at the
STC’s 46th Annual Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio, May 16-19,
1999.

We are pleased to announce the winners of the Rocky Mountain Chapter
1998-1999 Publications, Art, and
Online Competitions. These entries represent the
best of the entries. This year, judges examined 125 entries: 18 in the Art
competition, 25 in the Online competition, and 82 in the Publication
competition.
The Chapter is also pleased to honor those winners that went on to win at STC's
