2000-2001 Online & Publications Competition Entry Requirements

Entries must have been produced or substantially revised after September 1, 1998, and must not have been entered in any previous STC competition.
  1. Make FOUR copies of the original, completed entry form.
  2. Attach ONE copy of your entry form to EACH entry. Attach the original entry form and one copy to the check for the STC's master record. Make sure that all entry titles and names appear on the entry form as they would appear on an award.
  3. Submit THREE copies of each entry.
  4. Include a check for the appropriate entry fee(s) and attach it to the original entry form.
  5. Include a detailed packing list (see entry form) with your check if you are submitting multiple entries. This packing list needs to include:
    • the name of the competition (i.e, Online or Publications)
    • the title of each entry in each competition
    • the names per entry
    • the fee for each entry, and
    • the calculated total fee

Note: If your entry was produced under unusual conditions (such as an extremely tight deadline or a very limited budget), note this on the entry form. If you wish to disclaim responsibility for a portion of the entry or if, on the other hand, you would like to draw the judges' attention to some aspect, you may do so. However, the judges are not obligated to consider any of these comments in their evaluations.

  6. Your entry WILL NOT BE RETURNED. All winning entries will be available for pick-up at the Awards Reception. If your entry wins a Distinguished award in the Online or Publications Competitions, it will automatically be submitted to the International competitions. A fourth copy of any Distinguished/Excellence entry will be required for display at the Awards Reception.

Please note that the Rocky Mountain Chapter is NOT sponsoring a Technical Art Competition for the 2000-2001 year. You are invited to submit your Technical Art entries to other STC Chapters holding art competitions. Please visit the international site for more information.
