Rocky Mountain Chapter

The Rocky Mountain Chapter of STC typically meets the third Thursday of every month, except during the months of June, July, August, and December. Our official chapter events include a mixture of live program, webinar, and networking events. Occasionally we also offer social events just for fun.

Each month's event is announced in the president's eblast (electronic newsletter) and is posted on the chapter calendar. Sign up through our convenient online reservations system so we know to expect you. Many of our programs are either free or feature reduced prices for RMC members, although non-members, whether members of STC or the general public, are always welcome to attend.

Remember, as an RMC member, participation in any official chapter activity earns you Active Member Reward points. The more you participate, the more you earn.

When STC RMC hosts an event with a live presenter, meeting activities typically begin at 6:00 PM with a combination of networking and dinner. General announcements start at 7:00 PM (except for our annual business meeting in May, when chapter business begins at 6:30 PM). The main program typically runs from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.

RMC offers many opportunities for networking with your peers. Occasionally the official chapter meeting is primarily a networking opportunity at an announced location, although topics such as resume critique or technological advancements may be discussed. We are trying to hold more meetings in various areas to accommodate all of our members. Networking typically begins at 6 PM with dinner or drinks on your own.

Because STC RMC is a truly regional chapter, we try to offer regular webinars to support members all over the Front Range and the West. Often our webinars take place during the winter months when travel is more difficult. The webinar may be at the time of a regular chapter meeting, or a Lunch and Learn session. We will often publicize webinars offered by other chapters to further serve our remote members.

Get ready for another exciting year of programs and networking opportunities! For more information, contact STC RMC Information.
