Submitting a Job Posting

To announce a position on the STC RMC LinkedIn group, send your job announcement to the STC RMC jobline. If you have a link to your job, that is best for us because it goes directly to your job advertisement along with all of your requirements and avoids any maximum text length requirements when we post your job.

While we focus on posting positions within the Rocky Mountain region, we will post out-of-state positions that include a full relocation package.

To ensure your announcement is posted as quickly as possible, use the following general guidelines:

  • Include a link to your job or include your announcement in the message of your email. Do not send attachments.
  • Do not unnecessarily format your announcement.
    • Do not insert extra spaces.
    • Do not center text.
    • Use dashes for bullets.
  • Send a separate email or link for each job.

Make your announcement as succinct as possible, but do include (in this order) the following information:

  • Classify the position as one of the following:
    • Direct employee – if your company has an opening for a direct, full-time permanent, or temporary employee.
    • Agency employee—if you are an agency/consulting firm placing a full-time employee with a company.
    • Contract (W2, 1099, Sole Proprietorship, S Corporation, LLC, Partnership).
  • Position title
  • Company name
  • Job location
  • Required qualifications
  • Desired qualifications
  • Response requirements and method (for example, "Send resume via email or fax to ...")
  • Contact name and numbers, if you are willing to receive calls from potential candidates
  • In addition to a contact name for resumes, please indicate who we should call if we have any questions or issues about the job posting itself

Company Name: ABC Company

Job Location: Anytown, USA

ABC Company has an opening for a Technical Writer. This opportunity is located in Anytown, USA. This is a full time position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support new product development. Creates, revises, edits, and formats new product documentation. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.

Ensures ISO 9001 compliance... Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.

Required skills:

    - Adobe FrameMaker (PC Platform)

    - Structured / XML capability preferred
