Stretch Yourself...Learn a Skill...Make a Difference

STC RMC is an active chapter with many volunteer positions. Our members have the unique opportunity to gain experience, acquire credentials, and develop skills not always available on the job. To volunteer for chapter activities, contact our volunteer manager or any chapter officer or manager.

Volunteer Positions

RMC can only provide programs and services to the extent that we are staffed to do so. To make our chapter work, RMC relies on volunteers who donate their time and talent to keep our technical communication community alive.

While we occasionally need volunteers to help with special projects or events, we need even more a few dedicated people who are willing to commit to a few months of activity to perform a valuable service for the chapter. Vital functions needed to maintain RMC are listed below.

Positions are active during the program year, September through May, but only officers are elected to a specific term. Volunteers often move from position to position to gain different types of experience. If you’re interested in one of our volunteer opportunities, please contact president@stcrmc.org. And don't forget, active members can earn back the price of their chapter membership through our Active Member Rewards Program (AMRP).

Please browse through the following list, and contact us if anything strikes your interest. Thank you!
