Job #1336
Contract

Technical Writer
Company: Superior Group
Location: Tempe, AZ

REQUIRED_QUALIFICATIONS:
Develop disaster recovery plan and process documentation.

Hopefully this will help:

1. IT disaster recovery plan very specific to Water Applications. We have already determined the technologies used and the scope of the planning, we just need help in documenting a few things:
a. The overall plan. From what I've seen, this is a fairly boiler-plated thing that documents the reasons, technologies, and applications included in the DR plan.
b. A recovery guide. This is very specific documentation on recovering specific applications and/or technologies.

2. The duration is project specific and will be measured by when documentation is done. My best guess would be this:
a. 2-3 weeks of getting familiar with our existing technologies, processes, and procedures to build a 'where to start' framework.
b. 4-8 weeks actual development of the DR plan and surrounding documentation.

Technical communication skills. Must be able to clearly understand, describe and document disaster recovery goals, technologies, procedures and processes.
